Food, Hotel and Site Services
The Food, Hotel and Site Services team manages the purchasing of food, drink and non food disposables, estates services and goods (including capital) for operational businesses.
The team's primary focus is the procurement of the following which are used by all operational business areas.
- cleaning and housekeeping products
- alcohol gel, aprons, janitorial hardware, laundry, linen and towels, liquid soap, paper hygiene and tabletop, personal toiletries, rubber gloves, sacks and liners
- examination and surgical gloves
- food
- bread, butchery, chilled, dairy, frozen, fruit, grocery, milk and vegetables
- incontinence products
- light and heavy catering equipment
- nappies
- staff uniforms
- waste collection and disposal (general and clinical)
- service contracts including:
- baths and patient lifting, heavy catering, heating, boiler repairs and hoists
- o drainage, lifts, locksmiths, tool hire, electricians, pest control
- product sales including:
- baths, carpets and floor coverings (supply and fit), curtains (supply and fit), furniture, hoists, hospital beds, patient lifting and accessories and pressure relieving products
- building and plumbing consumables, hardware, lighting
- garden consumables and machinery
- signage (external
- medical equipment consumables (not pharmacy)
- furniture - fitted and loose
- bedroom, lounge, office furniture
- brown and white goods
